The Filipino American Library announced the recipients of the 2005 FAL Spirit Awards presented on October 1, 2005 at The Millenium Biltmore Hotel in Los Angeles.
These awards honor individuals and organizations that have consistently supported theLibrary’s efforts as an educational and cultural resource for the Filipino American community in Los Angeles as well as in the United States.
“The FAL is delighted to be able to acknowledge the important and significant contributions which each of this year’s recipients have made to the Filipino American community,” noted Fritz Friedman, Chairman of the Board for the FAL. “This Gala serves as a unique opportunity to celebrate these individuals and organizations’ accomplishments and we look forward to
having fun as well.”
